Five things I have learnt from entering Adele in a baby’s competition. 1. Every child is unique, every child is special, every child is beautiful. 2. Supporting a child is one job mothers do effortlessly, no matter the scarifices, efforts, money or time consumed. They continue to pour in their love and give their all to make their children suceed. I am mostly surprised at the few daddies who go to such great lengths to solicit for votes for their babies. They are wonderful men. 3. Never to give up. Persistency, consistency pays. Gradually the votes keep coming in, steadily we keep rising to the top. Others have fallen back. But great rewards always await those who hold on. 4. One must always seek and grab attention if you want it. Even close friends and family need convincing and constant reminders to support you. Never assume you have a base, 5. When women come together , great things happen. When mothers join to achieve a common goal, greater results are obtained. Mummies have come together to vote for each others babies ,just to ensure everyone is a winner. P:s I hope they will keep this same energy when it comes to supporting each others’ businesses. I have made new friends, new acquaintances and future clients just because i decided to do something extra for my baby. I have turned marketer, negotiator, counsellor and manager.
